Culinary journey, architecturally interpreted
The design by Jouin Manku picks up on Alain Ducasse's travel themes and transforms them into spatial narratives.
Pyrolave provides precisely crafted lava stone elements that act as a calm stage for the culinary delights.
Fineness through choice of material
The Ivoire colour combines with wood, fabric and light to create a harmonious whole.
The enamelled surfaces blend elegantly into the overall concept - understated, high-quality, functional.
A framework for enjoyment and identity
Whether tables, counters or details - lava stone was used in such a way that it does not dominate, but rather carries the atmosphere.
The combination of craftsmanship, colour and context creates an experience on all levels.
Design with sophistication and function
The lava basins were deliberately combined with natural materials - wood, brass and stone.
Enamelled lava stone not only provides visual depth, but also impresses with its
- Shock resistance and durability
- Easy-care, non-porous surface
- Timeless aesthetics with artisanal origins
This project shows how design, function and responsibility can work together.
The choice in favour of Pyrolave was a decision in favour of quality, sustainability - and aesthetics that last.
With 40 storeys and over 150,000 square metres of space the hotel complex is not only home to 780 rooms, suites and villas, but also a casino, an atrium, a spa, conference rooms, an open-air pool area - and two culinary highlights:
The "Voyages by Alain Ducasse" restaurant - inspired by the travels of the legendary star chef -
and the Pâtisserie Pierre Herméa temple to the French art of confectionery.
Both areas were developed by the renowned agency Jouin Manku designed - with a clear focus on Materiality, depth and atmosphere. The colour tone "Ivoire" of the enamelled lava stone brings calm elegance to the exquisite design.
