A material with depth and luminosity
The enamelled lava slab in terracotta is warm, rich and clear. Its surface is characterised by fine craquelure, which catches and diffuses the light. The colour tone is somewhere between fired clay, copper and earth.
Oak, grounded and calm
The wall-mounted unit is veneered in oak. Clear lines, calm geometry, velvety surface. The body recedes, the lava speaks. The gold-coloured fittings pick up on the warm spectrum of the glaze and continue it.
A colour concept as a room
The bathroom is carefully composed: Colour, light and material intertwine. The room remains restrained, dense and precise. The ornamentation of the floor adds a quiet interplay.
Care that is not staged
The lava was embedded with flair and precision craftsmanship. The edges are gently moulded, transitions barely noticeable, every joint well thought out. The glaze lies smoothly and calmly on the stone, without any over-emphasis. Nothing pushes itself into the foreground, and for this very reason everything appears to be natural. The furniture is not decoration, but part of the room. Its quality is only revealed in the detail and remains in use.
