Soho House Berlin: Design under extreme conditions
For the infinity pool on the roof terrace of Berlin's Soho House, Pyrolave developed a customised solution with enamelled lava tiles in an intense emerald green. All elements were made to measure so that no cutting was required on site - a project with the highest standards of aesthetics and technology.
Form follows function - down to the last detail
The lava stone cladding used was enamelled by hand in our workshops and guarantees maximum resistance - even when exposed to constant moisture, sunlight and temperature fluctuations.
The result is a lasting, high-quality appearance without compromise.
A project that sets standards
Thanks to its material properties, enamelled lava stone is ideal for demanding outdoor areas: it is resistant to chlorine, salt and UV radiation, enables customised solutions without subsequent cutting and retains its colour brilliance even with intensive use over a long period of time.
Design with sophistication and function
The lava basins were deliberately combined with natural materials - wood, brass and stone.
Enamelled lava stone not only provides visual depth, but also impresses with its
- Shock resistance and durability
- Easy-care, non-porous surface
- Timeless aesthetics with artisanal origins
This project shows how design, function and responsibility can work together.
The choice in favour of Pyrolave was a decision in favour of quality, sustainability - and aesthetics that last.
A real masterpiece in Berlin: the Infinity pool area at Soho House has been completely customised listels made of enamelled lava stone in Vert Émeraude lined - without a single cut edge on site.
The project shows how Technical precision and design standards heat-resistant, frost-proof and visually spectacular.
Further proof that Pyrolave is not only intended for indoor use, but also convinces under extreme conditions.
