Söl'ring Hof: Architecture for the senses
The 2-star restaurant is located directly on the North Sea coast - embedded in sand, nature and Nordic light.
In this landscape, Pyrolave has realised a project that is unobtrusive - and has exactly the right effect.
Material that suits the location
Lava stone was deliberately chosen to provide a calm contrast to the lively surroundings. Its clear surface and subtle colouring harmonise with wood, natural stone and light - restrained, consistent, grounding.
A house that captures the moment
Sylt means clarity - and that is exactly what the design radiates. Pyrolave underlines the character of the house with its natural texture, Nordic colours and restrained, minimalist design language.
Design with sophistication and function
The lava basins were deliberately combined with natural materials - wood, brass and stone.
Enamelled lava stone not only provides visual depth, but also impresses with its
- Shock resistance and durability
- Easy-care, non-porous surface
- Timeless aesthetics with artisanal origins
This project shows how design, function and responsibility can work together.
The choice in favour of Pyrolave was a decision in favour of quality, sustainability - and aesthetics that last.
In the middle of the dunes of Syltwith a view of the rough North Sea, lies the Söl'ring Hof - a place of tranquillity, nature and culinary excellence. The restaurant with its Nordic charm and a double award-winning chef combines regional identity with international standards.
The interior is deliberately understated and allows the surroundings to take centre stage. Pyrolave lava stone emphasises this attitude with its natural presence and resilience.
