Montesol: sunlight, colours, lava stone
The traditional hotel in Ibiza opens its doors with a new concept - lively, playful, yet stylish.
Pyrolave realised several custom-made elements for the interior: Washbasins in bright colours, a central reception counter and individual restaurant tables - perfectly matched to the flair of the Balearic Islands.
Colour as a design tool
The washbasins in yellow, light blue and terracotta blend seamlessly into designer Dorothée Meilichzon's Mediterranean colour concept.
Soft shapes meet shiny surfaces - an interplay of light, texture and atmosphere.
Craftsmanship with character
Each piece was made from Auvergne lava stone and enamelled by hand in Castelsarrasin.
Whether washbasin or counter - every surface bears the signature of genuine craftsmanship: irregular, lively, graphic.
Design that runs throughout
From the reception to the restaurant - enamelled lava stone connects rooms and moods:
- Colour-coordinated washbasins, counters and tables
- An interplay of light reflection and material depth
- Mediterranean lightness meets French savoir-faire
A place that combines history, style and sensuality.
A new interpretation in the heart of Ibiza: The legendary Montesol Experimental Hotel has become a colourful design jewel with Mediterranean flair.
Pyrolave realised numerous handcrafted elements for this - including Washbasins in yellow, light blue and terracottaan impressive reception counter and individual restaurant tables.
The from Dorothée Meilichzon designed atmosphere connects neo-retro shapes with bold colourswhich come to life in the glaze of the lava stone. Every surface becomes a stage - elegant, handcrafted and unmistakable.
