La Folie: Architecture in harmony with nature
Surrounded by greenery, the La Folie project by Studio KO combines modern architecture with natural materials.
The room appears open, minimalist and clear - with wood, stone and lava as connecting elements. The curved lava stone counter block in vibrant saffron sets the confident accent.
Technology meets emotion
Over 10 customised lava elements with thicknesses of 30 to 60 mm were precisely manufactured for the counter.
The intense colour, the dynamic shape and the combination with dark wood give the project a touch of 70s glamour - clear, sensual and structured.
A material for real statements
The enamelled lava stone can withstand heat, cold, chemicals and daily use - without losing its radiance.
The combination of functionality, colour and form creates a new standard for bar and restaurant spaces.
Design with sophistication and function
The lava basins were deliberately combined with natural materials - wood, brass and stone.
Enamelled lava stone not only provides visual depth, but also impresses with its
- Shock resistance and durability
- Easy-care, non-porous surface
- Timeless aesthetics with artisanal origins
This project shows how design, function and responsibility can work together.
