Greece - A dream in blue

On the southern coast of Athens, star architect Tasos Zeppos has built a villa with a pool reminiscent of the classic film Le Grand Bleu reminds. The water? As deep blue as the Aegean Sea. The solution? Over 1,300 customised lava slabs, complemented by solid steps and a lava stone Jacuzzi.

The challenge: a millimetre-precise fit, non-slip surfaces and over 200 holes drilled on site. The result: a 185 m² water experience in which each panel tells its own story - manufactured by Pyrolave Suisse.

Berlin & London - Exclusive clubs, exclusive pools

In the rooftop pools of the Soho House clubs in Berlin and London, only one thing is possible: perfection. For the project in Berlin, the choice of material began at -15 °C - with ice in the shell. But the properties of lava stone were convincing: frost-resistant, robust, uncompromisingly elegant.

All of the enamelled Listel panels were made to measure in Berlin - for a seamless overflow solution in a vibrant Vert Emeraude. In London, the designers opted for Essence - a warm, deep shimmering colour that gives the 57 m² pool character and depth.

Mumbai - Tropical paradise with lava glamour

What began with a visit to Soho House in Berlin ended in a spectacular realisation in India: a 25 m long and almost 5 m wide pool complex with over 800 lava slabs in RAL 6033 - a sophisticated turquoise shade with an iconic crackle finish.

The lava slabs were not only produced for the floor and walls, but also for precise edges, steps and details - including anti-slip strips. A team from Pyrolave Suisse travelled to India especially to train the local installation team.
The result: a breathtaking pool that blends in perfectly with the tropical villa - luxurious, massive, unique.
